So, here is a link to something that could happen to me while attempting to run the half-marathon

This could be my worst fear! I'm not really concerned with my finish time, so, I'd like to think that I could find a bathroom somewhere along the way. But, I guess if you have to go, you have to go!

I have been fortunate enough to never have this experience, either personally or in a near by runner. I think the fear is largely overblown, so to speak. If you train the way you plan to run (like eating the same kinds of foods on Friday and Saturday before your Sunday training runs) then your body should be pretty well adapted to your schedule. But just in case, there will be lots of portopotties along the route. They are usually out of toilet paper long before you get there, though, so pack your own.
I understand that by sounding so casual, I am ensuring that I will have gastrointestinal issues at the Via Half.
